Sam Baker is the editor of The Pool, the women’s title she cofounded with Lauren Laverne in 2015, before which she had an illustrious career at the helm of magazines including Cosmopolitan, Company and Red. The Pool has switched up the publishing model by having zero advertising and a radio-like approach, and now reaches over 2 million people each month. Lauren talks to Sam about moving from traditional glossy mag editor to becoming an entrepreneur and putting the reader at the heart of all content.
