北桂樹 現代写真研究者、博士（学術）、MFA、アーティスト
京都芸術大学 芸術専攻 芸術研究科（博士課程）修了。博士論文のテーマは「POST/PHOTOGRAPHY の2020 年代の展開を論考する Study on the development of post-photography in the 2020s.」。コンテンポラリーアート領域における新たな写真性をもった表現を「写真変異株」として捉え、「POST/PHOTOGRAPHY（ポスト・フォトグラフィ）」として検討し、写真というメディア領域の拡張を捉える。
