Kristyn Wong-Tam is the Toronto City Councillor of Ward 13 — Toronto Centre. She is a human rights activist, entrepreneur, and the co-founder of Asian Canadians for Equal Marriage which helped successfully advocate for the legalization of same sex marriage in Canada in 2005. She works with 7 Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) and 7 Committee and Boards throughout the City. In this episode we talk about her road to City Hall from a homeless youth to City Councillor.
