Janelle Monáe Robinson is an artist, musician, actress, style icon, visionary, and so much more. They are a Sagittarius Sun, Gemini Moon, and Virgo rising, and their fiery Sagittarius nature and intelligent Gemini soul shines through their work. It was an honor to spotlight Janelle, a nonbinary, pansexual black artist, in the second episode of my pride month series spotlighting queer celebrities.
In this episode I go through a brief overview of Janelle’s life: from her early life in the working class neighborhood of Quindaro, Kansas City, to her stint at AMDA in NYC, to being noticed by Big Boi in Atlanta, to where they are today. I talk about their birth chart, highlighting their 4th house Sagittarius stellium that forms the locus of their personality. I also share some personal news related to a new chapter in my life.
