Darnell King is the Owner of NOLOGO and Co-Owner of LOCAL HEROES flagship retail store in Vernon Hills, Illinois.
Darnell began studying Art at a young age, falling in love with drawing. He has always admired many genres of Art, such as abstract, tattoos, graffiti, and cinematic.
He’s extensively studied color, shade, shape and texture and is well versed in many textiles and garments. DK’s inspiration for designing derives from street and runway fashion. This fashion got him featured in three GQ magazine editions during the summer of 2017.
NOLOGO is the product of needing to change the way we as consumers think and function in fashion. Streetwear is the perfect platform for an individual to break out and start a trend instead of simply being a part of the trend.
Local Heroes is a pop-up collective developed to take advantage of the abundance of vacant retail space currently available in shopping Malls. We take advantage of this abundance, curating local streetwear brands, bringing them to retail in a smaller scale as well as a more streamlined method than normally done with big box retail stores.
