Cody Shirk has traveled the world over the past two decades exploring hidden investment opportunities, remote corners of the world, and empty waves.

During this time as an investor, he's deployed capital in nearly two dozen countries across the Americas, Europe, Australia, and Asia.

Cody has founded and exited three separate companies. But as he's not afraid to admit, he's also founded and failed with more than one venture.

Prior to becoming a full time investor, he was an ocean lifeguard and professional firefighter in California (what he calls his "blue collar roots").

Since 2014, he's been writing the Explorer Report to share many of his adventures, successes, and thoughts on the state of the world markets.

Today, other than being a dad, Cody is a full time investor. He also work with private investor clients.
