Welcome to the 2nd episode of Season 3 of the Polyglot Perspective Podcast!

Learning languages to us aspiring polyglots changes how we see the world around us and how we interact in our everyday lives. For many of our listeners, language learning has been a great hobby with which they spend hours dedicating their lives to. Young polyglots of the world, have you heard of linguistics, want to learn more, or would be interested in majoring in this field in university?

Polina is a Russian university student studying linguistics. Polina created a student organization at her university to bring language-enthusiasts together. Some of her hobbies include reading, watching TV series and films in other languages, making videos, and running. Polina is currently studying English, Spanish, Norwegian, French, and Greek.

In this episode you’ll learn more about what studying linguistics is like in Russia from Polina’s personal experiences. This episode highlights Polina’s story through her perspective, the polyglot perspective.
