This is a short poem by me about why I write.

This is one of my favourite poems. Any poem that creates visual imagery and transports us somewhere else is always a good thing to read on a gloomy day.

Poem by Anshudha Garimella. We all get overwhelmed by the world sometimes and it's those moments when we feel most weak because we know that we can't help anyone because we can't even help ourselves. Writing poetry helps me in those moments and I hope listening to this helps you or at least distracts you for a little bit. Enjoy!

Poem by Anshudha Garimella. This is for people who understand anxiety and paradoxical feelings that come with it. The normal things have always scared me and given me anxiety but the extraordinary experiences that should be scary only bring me joy and confidence, it's hard to explain because it's hard to understand. Once again the only way to make sense of it is to write about it, this is based on my experience of doing various terrifying adventure sports. Its something I have come to cherish and love. Road trips feel like a respite but also a journey into the mind, the creative part of the mind, I have explored the most intriguing thoughts and gotten to explore the most beautiful music on road trips, just the feeling of movement is so refreshing.

Poem by Anshudha Garimella. At night or in the morning, in the middle of the day, basically whenever it doesn't matter, the reverie closest to my heart always involves the sea, the beach. There is no way I can ever get over the mysterious beauty of the sea. Next time you feel lost in life, take to the sea, in person or in your mind. The E.E. Cummings quote defines it the most " for whatever we lose(like a you or a me) it's always ourselves we find in the sea ."
