How much info and details do our parents need in order to give us advice for us to maneuver through a stumbling block?
Some say, if your parents foster and create opportunities of openness, then you can always seek advice.
Some are of the sentiment that parents and children aren't friends.
Hence why there should always be a certain level of boundaries.
