It’s been only two and a half years since the last episode! Last night I walked to my friend Margaux Williamson’s house. We talked outside her studio in the rain, and then inside her studio where the walls were covered with nearly-finished and recently finished paintings. We discuss the catalogue essay that Ben Lerner wrote for her recent show at the McMichael Gallery outside Toronto, and we talk about each other’s defence mechanisms a bit.
