Samadhi vision expresses itself through the statement that we must always remember we’re pristine souls and be unified in enjoying the act of giving and creating as well as in accepting reality by improving ourselves and bettering the world around us.

This symbol, called the Winged or Flying Heart, became famous as a distinctive sign of the Sufis thanks to Hazrat Inayat Khan, who made the Winged Heart with a five-pointed star and a crescent moon as the emblem of the Sufi movement he founded on the West. Although the symbol became known precisely as a Sufi, its origins are much older. Variations of it were found in various communities of the esoteric Tradition. Sufis say our heart learns when it finds a rhythm that matches the rhythms of all other hearts in the world. This is how the electromagnetic field around our heart becomes when we achieve a state of spiritual bliss. Therefore, we can say that the Winged Heart is a heart that is in harmony with all living things.
