The second half of the fourth season kicked off with This Is Us - Season 4 Episode 10 - "Light and Shadows". With this episode, This Is Us reminded viewers why it should be considered "must-see TV". In some ways, I think I would have liked THIS one as the cliffhanger headed into the winter break. Do you agree?




* Kevin turns up empty-handed in the love department - or did he? Cue the telephone buzzing with Sophie on the caller ID. Will Sophie turn out to be Kevin's storybook romance, even as unconventional as their story has been?





* Kate deals with Toby losing his way on his journey into fatherhood. Do you need to tell your spouse if you've changed gyms? Also, do you think it was ok for the writers to possibly change the severity of baby Jack's condition?





* Randall takes on even more as he flies to LA to escort Rebecca to her neurology appointment. He's determined to get to the bottom of her "senior moments", much to the chagrin of Miguel (who had a marked change of heart by episode's end). Speaking of the ending - Oh, lordy! Who the -? What the -? Will Randall get out of this mess unscathed?
