Submission: "When I was in the military, I killed 13 men in the line of duty. I now live with PTSD and the repercussions of it which includes nightmares, flashbacks, a laundry list of medications, and a service dog. I’ve tried multiple experimental treatments along with traditional therapy to nearly no avail. Having to live with the act of killing another human, no matter what the circumstance, haunts you. I also gave these men their last rights in an effort to somehow make peace with them as we were both just “doing our job.” I have gone to damn near extreme lengths to try to balance my karma in life."
