Host (and seasoned CPf personal trainer) Eric Lawrence and CPf Fitness Director Mike Nicholson discuss the business of personal training. Together, they go over the day-to-day aspects of coaching professionally, and how to successfully build, maintain, and manage a client base.

Mike Nicholson trained clients successfully at the flagship location of Chelsea Piers Fitness in Manhattan for 12 years before becoming the Fitness Director for CPf. He has over 10,000 training hours and has coached all types of clients ranging from CEOs and professional athletes to actors and models to achieve their physical and performance goals. In his current role, Mike leads sixty trainers at both CPf clubs in New York City. His main focus is currently on recruiting and coaching trainers to reach six figure incomes and maximize their coaching potential at CPf. Mike has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, in addition to having certifications in Pilates Reformer, TRX and Extreme Performance Training (XPT).
