AJ McCord is a sports anchor/reporter for KOIN in Portland, Oregon, who brought so much wisdom on her journey there. She started her career in the San Diego market while going to school at PLNU, interning for big names like the San Diego Padres and NBC San Diego. Learning that the path to your end goal is not always easy or glamorous. Her advice at the end is so good but I highly advice to listen to the entire episode to learn how she has become a trustworthy, empathetic, and incredible reporter.
