The Pittsburgh Steelers released running back and kickoff returner Raheem Blackshear, who was with the team for just three weeks. Despite being brought in to improve the kick return game, Blackshear never made it to the main roster and was eventually let go due to the emergence of Kenneth Gainwell and Ke’Shawn Williams in those roles. Blackshear, who spent the past three seasons with the Carolina Panthers, is now searching for another opportunity in the league. The Steelers also released linebacker Jacoby Windmon, creating three open spots on their practice squad.
