A failed comic book writer (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) returns home defeated after her life's work is stolen from her. Upon finding her old childhood diary, she attempts to adapt the stories into comic book form. Disgusted by the real life depressing accounts of her youth, she begins to sketch out what her ideal perfect autobiography would be - changing her past including the tragic death of her father. What she soon discovers is that she has the power to rewrite the worst parts of her personal history including bringing her father back to life. From the filmmakers that brought us "Juno" and "Young Adult" - writer Diablo Cody and director Jason Reitman team up once again to bring us the "monkey's paw" story of "PAIGE TURNER".
