We kicked things off with the usual BS before diving into a packed weekend recap. From 48 hours of CARS Tour action at Hickory – including Mini Tyrrell's win, Kaden Honeycutt getting the black flag, and the Tristen McKee/Landon Lewis wreck – to wondering if John Campbell already knew the outcome before it happened, we had plenty to chew on. Oh, and Bowman Gray? They decided not to continue tech this week like they did the weekend before.
Then came the main event: a deep dive into Stock4 chaos at Franklin County Raceway. Wesley Givens’ night went from bad to worse – first black flagged for a questionable blocking call against Keyshaun Claytor, then DQ’d from the second race for lining up wrong on the restart. But the real jaw-dropper? Tech inspection by burnouts to check transmissions. Two failed – including Givens – but after further inspection, his wasn’t illegal… yet it was still banned from future competition. Meanwhile, another assumed LSD transmission was deemed legal because the car could have come from the factory with it (without confirming if it actually did).
This mess led to a midweek rules change now allowing LSD transmissions in that specific car model. Givens still got the DQ, not for the infraction itself, but for his reaction to it. Confused? So were we – but we break down every bit of it in this episode.
