And so we did. Not for 44 days, but this week Shea & Dave dive into the biopic that captures so much of the romance & heartache that we love about football so much, but also comes with its controversies over the creative liberties from both the book and the film.
We discuss how such liberties sometimes are necessary for filmic narrative, as well as the cinematography, the wonderful performances by Michael Sheen & co, the love & romance of footy on display, the historical narrative of Clough vs Revie, as well as David drinking his celebration cups throughout the pod for Liverpool's long awaited title.
