The Pink Mondo Podcast values real and thought-provoking conversations about life and the world we live in. We take lessons from personal stories, integrate facts from professionals into our day-day lives and inspire each other through connection. Sustainability is a core part of the initiative, which includes pillars such as social, economic, and environmental issues. These in turn cover a realm of ‘hot topics’ within themselves from human rights, mental health, ethics, and climate change. Putting all this together, the aim is to relook at how we interpret the term sustainability, helping listeners to create a genuinely sustainable life for themselves, while learning how to make the world a better place to live in.

Gina Martin: Gender equality, feminism and how to have difficult conversations

The Pink Mondo Podcast, with Petra Kereem / Episode 10:

Gina MartinGina is a British gender equality activist, writer, and speaker, based between the UK and Australia. She is known for her successful political activism in which her case to make up-skirting illegal in England and Wales resulted in the Voyeurism Offences Act 2019. This really sparked her career in activism, and she continues to campaign for human rights online and through her job as a facilitator. We discuss her recent book “No Offence But..” and how language plays a huge part in perpetuating an outdated culture and often bad behaviour from more dominant communities.

You can follow Gina’s work on Instagram @ginamartin and through the columns she writes for the likes of Glamour Magazine. Her book “No Offence But..” is a must-have and can be purchased online and in most major book stores. It really is a game changer!
