This project has been such an expansive process within the realm of building a journey that is designed to be an ever-clearer reflection of the experience I find myself in/as.  As I dove further into this, I've found it be teaching moment after teaching moment. To be specific, I don't know anything and I definitely didn't know what I was getting myself into. And my ignorance was the ground I was walking on AND the fuel to reach further.  I found myself asking, "Where can this project go that will keep me learning and keep me slightly in the dark?" There is a long trail ahead into the void, but for now I will find home here.  I hope that this transmission expands your experience in a way that leaves you more comfortable with walking around yourself. This first episode or 'expedition' I am walking with the magnanimous James Revels. We start by discussing the origins of cynicism. In my prior research of the topic (recommended by James) I found the development of the societal view of cynicism particularly interesting. The evolution of the archetypal term seems to be vaguely aligned with different "fringe groups" over time. I have commented below with some resources for further research if you are interested. One super important component of "PGP" is the musician who improvies the background music in a way that mimics a film score by responding to what is being said or the tone of the conversation. It is the vehicle for the adventure and I don't think you would be a part of the exploration without it. For the first episode, I could not be more excited to be blessed with the musical guidance from the great Phoenix Wright! I am so happy about this!!!! I look forward to wherever this project goes and I am excited to go there with you all! An important lesson I learned is that I don't need to have the whole idea figured out to get the ball rolling. I just need to make a choice. And I will continue to make choices that will further refine the small initial idea into whatever it is supposed to be.
