In this week's episode, Pastor Isaac interviews Pastor Will about his life from childhood upbringing to pastoral ministry at Harvest Church. Will shares his story of academic arrogance in high school, followed by years of debauchery at Penn State where he excelled academically while living recklessly with drugs and alcohol. After experiencing mortality scares and spiritual guilt, he moved to North Carolina for grad school seeking a fresh start. His salvation came unexpectedly during an Easter Sunday, though he initially misunderstood what was happening. Through coyote hunting with Sean Baker, Will discovered Harvest Church and found Christian role models for the first time. After marriage, baptism, and intensive theological study, he transitioned from engineering to pastoral ministry when Mike Greiner called about the executive pastor position. The episode concludes with Will addressing 2 ask the pastor questions that Isaac brought to the table, related to his story.
