Welcome to the Photo Mentors podcast. Each episode we speak to a photographer or filmmaker and find out the experiences and advice that make them who they are today.
We do this by asking 10 key questions, the same questions to each guest so that we can find common themes and compare how different photographers and filmmakers go about their craft.

This weeks guest is photographer Damien Demolder. Damien is former Editor of Amateur Photographer magazine (where he gave me a job as Technical Writer), but he started his photographic career as an in-house, or at-sea, photographer onboard cruise ships.
Now he still writes about photography and reviews camera kit and has been published in titles such as The British Journey of Photography, DP Review.com and Amateur Photographer magazine, whilst also working with manufacturers on a variety of different projects.
At heart Damien is a documentary and street photographer, with an extensive collection of APS film cameras. When the world allows he regularly host workshops on street photography around the UK, and sometimes further afield.
