Welcome to the Photo Mentors podcast. Each episode we speak to a photographer or filmmaker and find out the experiences and advice that make them who they are today.
We do this by asking 10 key questions, the same questions to each guest so that we can find common themes and compare how different photographers and filmmakers go about their craft.

This weeks guest is landscape photographer Bill Ward.
In 2015 Bill won the Adobe Award in the prestigious Landscape Photographer of the year awards, and had a commended in last years awards. He has also won Best Seascape at the 2019 Scottish Landscape Photographer of the year competition. In fact his landscape images feature regularly in commended and nominated lists in competitions around the world and he has been published in numerous magazines.
Bill loves to travel and is just at home photographing in cities as he is on his beloved North East coastline. And thankfully Bill’s day job gives him the chance to travel and explore new places. Although he may be familiar to most for appearing in over 400 episodes of Coronation Street, and 300 episodes of Emmerdale, Bill loves being on stage, often travelling with theatre productions around the UK. And of course his camera comes with him wherever he goes.
