Philosophical Entertainment

Philosophical Entertainment is a concept coined by Alan Watts, who referred to himself as a Philosophical Entertainer. Through listening to Watts, we decided to take up the mantra of making philosophy entertaining again!

Science only studies the usual, which is why our objective has been to take uncommon topics (the more taboo the better) and dive into why it makes us uncomfortable. As we settle into our fears, we find that it is what lies behind the heebie jeebies that has us scared; it is death that has us frightened. That being the case, we want to explore death and find out why we feel so unsettled with our own mortality.

Remembering Who We Are: A Soul Dialogue with Jeanne Comeau (Part 3)
If you’re not philosophically entertained, our entertainment is only philosophical.

Season 4, Episode 21: Remembering Who We Are: A Soul Dialogue with Jeanne Comeau (Part 3)
Episode Overview
In this final chapter of a transformative trilogy, Nirakara Vani concludes his conversation with Jeanne Comeau, PhD, by exploring moksha, the end of karmic cycles, and the liberation found when we dissolve attachment. Together, they weave through the language of energy, the illusions of ego, and the timeless return of every soul to Source.
This episode also marks a turning point for Philosophical Entertainment: the founding of Antara Pathways, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to end-of-life care, trauma healing, and the radical acceptance of what is. As Vani embarks on a master’s program and leads this new initiative, the podcast pauses, preparing to return with season 5—where future episodes will align with Antara’s mission.
Through raw honesty, cosmic insight, and soulful reflection, Jeanne and Vani invite listeners to consider: What patterns are you ready to dissolve? What illusions are you prepared to release? And what freedom awaits when you surrender to presence?
Key Topics Discussed
Moksha and Liberation– The soul as a skipping stone across lifetimes– How unresolved emotional charge fuels reincarnation– Freedom as the dissolution of attachment
Energy and Emotion– Why language limits our true voice– Emotions as energy in motion– The relationship between disharmony, trauma, and disease
Ego, Escapism, and Healing– Addiction to “methods” of control—fear, substances, patterns– Why surrender is the only real cure– Healing as remembering who we are
Cycles and Consciousness– Yugas, the Ages, and humanity’s evolutionary turning points– Astrology as a map of energy, not fate– Choosing the high road vs. the low road in soul patterns
The Birth of Antara Pathways– A nonprofit devoted to end-of-life guidance and soul-centered healing– Bridging spiritual wisdom with compassionate care– How future episodes will evolve into Antara’s mission
Final Takeaways
Liberation begins where attachment ends
Every method is temporary—truth is eternal
Your soul already knows the way home
Endings are openings; this pause is a beginning
