Through layered visual storytelling, Jiménez-Flores traces his own multi-generational migration story while engaging broader narratives of colonization, labor, and borderlands. Works like Memoria, Tierra, Trabajo: A Glimpse of the Semiquincentennial stretch across an 80-foot wall, while outdoor sculptures such as La resistencia de los nopales híbridos: El Susurro del Desierto and Caminantes animate the landscape with hybrid forms that speak to adaptation, survival, and hope.
