Honouring Fathers: A Call to Godly Fatherhood
As we celebrate Father's Day, we're reminded of the profound impact fathers have on our lives and faith. This message highlights five key points that resonate deeply with our spiritual journey. First, we're called to appreciate the often unsung role of fathers, acknowledging their strength, perseverance, and unique contributions to family life. The scripture 'Well done, good and faithful servant' (Matthew 25:23) takes on new meaning as we apply it to the faithful service of fathers. Second, we're encouraged to let go of regrets, embracing Paul's wisdom in Philippians 3:13-14 to forget what's behind and press forward. This ties into the story of Jesus and the woman caught in adultery, reminding us that God's grace overcomes our past mistakes. Third, we're urged to honour our own parents, fulfilling the commandment in Ephesians 6:2 and reaping its promised blessings. Fourth, fathers are called to be spiritual leaders, acting as priests in their households and passing down stories of God's faithfulness as commanded in Psalm 78. Finally, we're challenged to invest in our relationships, turning our hearts to our children as prophesied in Malachi 4:5-6. This message invites us to reflect on our roles as parents, children, and followers of Christ, encouraging us to cultivate love, faith, and legacy in our families.   Find a C3 Church Near You: https://www.c3churchglobal.com   If you want to give to help C3 Church Global plant new churches around the world, head to https://www.c3churchglobal.com/giving   Follow Me On Social Media: https://www.youtube.com/@Philpringle?sub_confirmation=1  https://instagram.com/philpringle https://www.facebook.com/psphilpringle https://www.tiktok.com/@philpringl https://twitter.com/philpringle    Purchase a copy of my books today: https://philpringle.com/store
