Description: This course reviews what speech language pathologists should know about remote microphone systems. This course describes who benefits from them and why. Also how SLPs can be involved in the process of remote microphone systems. Earn 1 clock hour of continuing education credit (Introductory Level, Professional Area).

As a result of this presentation the participant will be able to:  

1. Participants will be able to define what a remote microphone system is.
2. Participants will be able to list at least 3 populations that can benefit from using a remote microphone system.
3. Participants will be able to summarize the role of a speech language pathologist to support the use of remote microphone technology.
