Since the announcement and revelation of the new Naira notes, Nigerians have seen a lot of changes in the country with respect to transactions and even FX rates. CBN governor, Emefiele, also mentioned the cashless policy which TG and Zoka dissected in this episode. Although the House of Reps is still fighting it, the apex bank governor insists that it is here to stay. Listen to the entire episode to understand what it truly means for the average Nigerian and local businesses.
As CBN announced its intention to phase out the old 200, 500, and 1000 naira notes, it sent a ripple effect across the country.
