The Duke of Wellington, is one of the 91 Hereditary Peers in the Lords, but has been active in politics since the 1970s. He stood for Parliament before becoming a Conservative MEP, a position he held for 10 years. He continues to actively leverage his knowledge and expertise in the Lords across matters relating to finance, conservation and the environment.
