The Birth of Christ and Salvation

This podcast is based on the truth revealed in Luke chapters one and two.

Phil Zore joins me as we behold the wonder of the birth of Christ and salvation.

In understanding salvation through Christ we begin the podcast seeking to understand the mercy of God.

Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

We also discuss the difference mercy and grace and God’s salvation through Christ. Eph. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

It is clear in these two verse that man cannot save himself by his own works of righteousness or his own human effort. Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Man cannot save himself from sin; only Christ can save a man from the power and penalty of sin.

Luk 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

We further explain the Peace of God and salvation through Christ, and the Sovereignty of God and salvation through Christ. In the second half of our podcast (about 20 minutes) Phil Zore shares his personal testimony of how he was saved.
