Episode 21 - Day of the Dead & Return of the Living Dead
The pod has been overrun by the undead! Our chronological journey through the films of 1985 takes a bit of a detour for purely thematic reasons as special guest and filmmaker Nick Simon joins Eric and Scott for a grisly convo about two cult classic zombie flicks from the two men behind the original Night of the Living Dead. George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead went wide on July 19th, 1985, while John A. Russo’s Return of the Living Dead released a month later on August 16th, 1985.
