The No Place Like Home Challenge with Margaret Price

Margaret Price, employee at Helping Hands Humane Society for over 20 years, is back on as a guest in this episode! Gremi (your hosts, Grace and Emi) interview her all about a challenge we're participating in this month - what is it, why are we on board, and how are we working to get even more lost pets reunited with their owners? We discuss our website, a new Facebook page, working with Animal Control Officers, collars and tags, and of course, microchips! We also give some advice about actions we can all take to help animals and pet owners in our community (AKA be supportive and learn about animal behavior and what's best for them! Some of the advice may seem counterintuitive.).

We'd love to hear your feedback, questions, and stories about animal welfare and our podcast. Feel free to reach out to us anytime at emig@hhhstopeka.org and/or gracec@hhhstopeka.org.
