The Lord laid on heart several days ago, to start a program called A Word from the Proverbs. A Word from the Proverbs will be a 10 minutes daily show to learn life as much as we can from the book of Proverbs in the Bible.   

So, in Proverbs 1:1, the Bible says (N. I. V.)  The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: for gaining wisdom and instruction;  for understanding words of insight; for receiving instruction in prudent behaviour,  doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to those who are simple,  knowledge and discretion to the young— let the wise listen and add to their learning,  and let the discerning get guidance— for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.  

In this scripture, we see the purpose and the reason why the book of Proverbs was written.   

Let’s read this portion of scripture from the Message Bible:    

These are the wise sayings of Solomon, David's son, Israel's king— Written down so we'll know how to live well and right, to understand what life means and where it's going; Prov 1: 1-2   

So, I've realized that generally, people take longer to learn the things that are already written in the Bible. I myself have taken too long to understand things that we're so close to me. I've decided to take time to explain the great life lessons that are written in the book of Proverbs on a daily basis.   

And may the Lord God bless this time, may His Presence and His Insights be with us. May He open my mind to reveal things that are secrets and the instructions that you need in your life to move forward.   

A manual for living, for learning what's right and just and fair;  To teach the inexperienced the ropes and give our young people a grasp on reality.  God himself does not expect us to know everything either does he reveal all things at once. Jesus said to his disciples, “there are things that I want to tell you, but you're not yet ready for it, the Holy Spirit will be telling you those things”.   

So, there is a need for us to be learning life and that is the purpose of this show and I will be sharing lessons and revelations that the Lord is giving me from the Book of Proverbs. And this is to learn life and to have a rich experience in this world.   Sometimes we go through things and make terrible mistakes simply because we didn't learn life from the Bible.
