Happy Pride Month everyone! It is the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots - a historic and important event in gay history which we'll be talking about in the episode. Today I am joined by my friend Lewis Twiby and we have just arrived at the LGBTQ community - a physical place according to Britney Spears and are ready to talk about some good ol' queer history and current affairs. For our past we discuss the Black Cat Tavern raid and the Stonewall Riots; for our Present we will be chatting about the Gender Recognition Act reform and the capitalisation of Pride events; and for our Future we will be discussing the progress of LGBTQ rights in Africa and the implementation of LGBTQ inclusive education in Scotland.
