Derek Sciba has 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, including global relief organizations World Concern and World Vision. He is the current Executive Director of Vision House, which provides transitional housing and services to help break the cycle of homelessness for families with children. Derek loves the work of Vision House because it’s not transactional—it’s empowering, personal and addresses core problems that lead to housing instability. Earlier in his career, Derek worked as a TV news reporter, where he produced stories to seek justice for families who had encountered trauma.
