With no new episode this past week, we decided to throw it back to the beginning! I get to share with Alex the episode that started it all for me. Here we see a pretty functional family. They all talk about how great plural marriage is and allllllllll the perks. Kody has a big announcement too. We learn that Janelle loves going to work outside of the house and also has hobbies, thanks to her girl Christine raising the kids at home. And also, Logan, who made a bomb breakfast for his siblings. Christine is the domesticated basement wife. She always wanted to be a third wife in a plural family (and probably the last one too but doesn't say that out loud). Meri is actually there, speaking, and an active part of the family. She is also the tooth-puller. Did you know that toasters kill more people than sharks every year? Also, the big announcement is Robyn, the soon-to-be destroyer of the family. I suggest a rewatch of this episode if it's been a while. There are some fun contradictions to what is being said in present day. And some foreshadowing.
