ABOUT THE HOST:

Dr Vibha Krishnamurthy is one of India’s most renowned developmental pediatricians, with over three decades of experience working with children, families, and caregivers. After training and practicing in the United States, she returned to India to address the urgent need for disability-affirming, family-centered care. In 2001, she founded Ummeed Child Development Center, a pioneering non-profit that supports children with developmental disabilities and their families through a multidisciplinary, inclusive approach.

Dr Vibha is widely respected for her ability to combine clinical expertise with deep compassion, and for her unwavering belief that every family — regardless of background — deserves access to support, understanding, and dignity. Parenting Aaj Kal is a natural extension of her life’s work: making complex parenting challenges easier to talk about, and ensuring that no parent feels alone in their journey.
