
In this episode we speak to US-based paramedic Coco Tang. Over the last ten years, Coco has led humanitarian missions in Sierra Leona, Nepal, Greece, Haiti and Bangladesh. She has conducted training and assessments in Ghana, Myanmar, Haiti, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mexico. Coco also has experience of conflicts, having provided medical aid in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Ukraine.
We discuss what it's like to to work in this sector - the level of responsibility, the highlights and the difficult moments. Coco shares her advice for those of us with an interest in humanitarian missions.
