Paula shares her church experiences and the importance of looking to the future of the church in our communities.
Is belief the same as faith?
Matthew 17:20: "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will beimpossible for you." This verse beautifully bridges belief and faith, showing how even a tiny spark of trust can grow into something powerful.

Today we’re going to look into scripture to explore the topic of works and faith. There can be confusion around the topic of good works among Christians. Jesus’ salvation is a gift of grace that He doesn’t expect us to earn through our performance. That said, what we do still matters.March 23, 2025

The Invitation
You’re Invited! We’ve probably all received an invitation to something at one time oranother; a birthday, graduation, wedding. Usually we’re asked to RSVP as a key component to throwing a great partyis knowing who will be coming.
The parable in Matthew illustrates the invitation we have been given. An invitation to Heaven. God has extended thisinvitation to us through his son Jesus.
We respond to this invitation by believing, and being ready by dressing appropriately, preparing for our ultimate destination.

Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in allcircumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Rejoice
Pray
Be Thankful
This is the WILL of God for YOU.
Today we’re going to talk about prayer. Jesus taught Hisdisciples to call God “Father.”
This was a radical shift in relationship.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful. It is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way. It is not irritable or resentful. It does not rejoice in the wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all thing, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.

Despite its prevalence in our lives, it seems that many of us have a mistaken view of forgiveness and its impact, not only spiritually and emotionally, but also physically. In fact, according to John Hopkins Medicine, forgiveness has a huge impact on your health:
“Whether it’s a simple spat with your spouse or long-held resentment toward a family member or friend, unresolved conflict can go deeper than you may realize—it may be affecting your physical health. The good news: Studies have found that the act of forgiveness can reap huge rewards for your health, lowering the risk of heart attack; improving cholesterol levels and sleep; and reducing pain, blood pressure, and levels of anxiety, depression and stress. And research points to an increase in the forgiveness-health connection as you age.”

God often chooses the most unlikely so there is no mistaking that God is the one at work.
Divine salvation advances because unlikely characters say yes to grace.

Do you know that God has a plan for you?
Jeremiah 29:11 says: "I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
As we look into the new year; setting goals, and making resolutions, consider what possibilities God may have in store for you!

The last of our December sermon series. A dive into the mysteries of the Wise Men from the East who made the journey to visit the newborn King.
The third Sunday of advent 2025 is Joy!
From the Shepherds in the fields to our hearts today, God shows us the power and reward of being Joyful!
Our second Sunday of Advent 2025 is Peace.
Peace is not only a state of being, or absence of conflict. Peace is an obligation. Joseph led by example as a peacemaker.
Our first Sunday of Advent December 2024 is Hope.
The story of Christmas is usually soft, quiet, and peaceful.
The true story of the coming of Christ was none of those things. It was shocking, hard, perilous, and culturally disruptive.
They were waiting for a Messiah then because they believed the prophets. What most people don't know is there are even more prophecies of Christ coming again.
Believe and Be Ready.

God has given each of us gifts and talents. What is the difference between the two?
Part 2 is about our Talents and why it is important to develop them.

God is the Master Gardener. We are the fruits of His Spirit.
Sow in abundance with full expectation that we are co-creators with God in this life.

I am that I am. The first name of God. And also our reference to self.
From Denver Community Church, I share my message on the power of our words. I've also included a couple of beautiful hymns; Have Thine Own Way Lord and Here I am.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you. And give you peace.
