In this new episode of Paradigma, we talked with Melis Arıksoy on her recent MA thesis completed at Edinburgh University.

Melis Arıksoy has recently attained her MSc degree from the University of Edinburgh in Social Justice and Community Action. Her dissertation focuses on the nexus among gender, organizational justice, and local government. She aims to contribute to the gap in literature through studying organizational justice at local government level which is still a grey area for reseachers. Previously, she did double major in Political Science-International Relations and Sociology at University of Bahçeşehir. During her studies, she also had the chance to be part of Erasmus exhange programme in Philipps University of Marburg. Along with her academic career, she currently works as market research specialist at GfK - an NIQ company in CMI - CSM (Customer Success Management) department. Likewise, she is both involved in quantitative and qualitative projects which are realized in diverse sectors from telecommunications to tech&durables. She does voluntary work in NGO’s that focus on environmental awareness, gender equality, and education.
