I first met Trent in the summer of 2021 when we moved to Stephenville TX and we quickly became best friends. In 2024 Trent’s world was turned upside down when he experienced blood clots in his left arm and during his hospitalization suffered a stroke. In the subsequent year Trent had to relearn how to walk, eat and see again as well as learning to deal with other deficits. Through working with talented and passionate therapist and educating himself he gained a new insight into the health care system and developed a heart for the broken. He is now turning his trauma into something positive but starting The Broken Road podcast to interview survivors and shine a light that there is life after trauma. He also stated The Broken Road Project which seeks to help connect people with the resources they need to work towards their highest quality of life. Along with working on all his own projects Trent has also been co-hosting on The Panhandle Primate Podcast for the past several episode. Enjoy this episode and keep an eye out for the cool things Trent is doing!
