Kate looks at a key paper from Professor Bruera on adoption of palliative care in medical systems and then we hear from Professor Fliss Murtagh on a review of 24 years of Palliative care delivery across the UK and a large survey of families of patients who have died on the experience of palliative care in the UK.

We also get an update on research in Hospice UK and an overview of Hospice Care week.
