In this episode I sit down with Erin Elizabeth aka La Yuca, she is a designer, model, activist, youtuber, all around creative. We first met Erin when she casually walked into our store PSA in humboldt park, Erin was new to Chicago after moving from DC. Originally from North Carolina Erin shares that she was kicked out of her home and has been estranged from her parents a years ago after dealing with abuse. Erin is fluent in spanish and even teaches me a few things about the language, she shares that being bilingual has changed her perspective on the world and hopes to share that with people. Aside from youtube erin embelishes her clothes and creates one of a kind pieces that she sells on her etsy for charity.
