
Dr Mary Elisabeth Cox is the William Golding Junior Research Fellow in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Brasenose College, Oxford, and a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow. In this interview she speaks about her recent book, Hunger in War & Peace, which explores the impact of the Allied blockade of Germany during the First World War on German civilians and the food aid program that followed the conflict.
