Cat is a TEDx + Motivational Speaker, a Consultant, an Innovator, a Mom... and the Director of Belonging at the University of Southern California.
She has held thousands of conversations with people; on the streets, in coffee shops, universities, corporations and even NASA... and Me.
Cat is raising awareness about the importance of holding space for one another. Treating people like Human Beings.

- The interview; making sure the we (the employer) will be a good fit for you, so you can be your whole-self... sharing your ideas and energy with the group, in a way that adds value.
- No more "work/ life balance." Our work is part of our life. It should be "Balancing Life."
- "How Can I Help?" is a question we should all be asking, especially as a leader. (servant leadership)
- C.L.I.C.K. : a method of approaching authentic relationships. CONNECTING with others as we are, where we are. LISTENING first, to understand what is needed. INVESTINGATING without judgment. COMMUNICATE with kindness. KEEPING in touch from a place of commitment with on another.
- Teaching people to "Interview your next employer", making sure they will be a good fit for you... so you can show up as your whole self and contribute to the group / team, as you are. Everyone benefits when the environment is diverse and embraces inclusiveness.
- Holding space for one another. We are all human beings.
- Think Tiny, Think Little, Think Simple - "it's often in the tiny interactions that a lot of potency can start to change not just individual's lives, but the workplace culture"
- Anytime you put the word "just" before something, it could be a tiny seed moment that could impact someone's life.
