Welcome to another FILL UR CUP episode—our space to slow down, open Scripture, and spend intentional time with Jesus. We’re not theologians—just two friends learning as we go and inviting you to do the same.
In this week’s episode, Blakely shares from John 8 and the story of the woman caught in adultery. It’s a powerful picture of how Jesus loves us—with compassion that meets us where we are, and truth that calls us into something more.
Jesus didn’t shame her, but He also didn’t pretend her sin didn’t matter. He stood with her when everyone else walked away, and then said:
“Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.”
That’s what real love looks like—steadfast and honest. It doesn’t excuse sin, and it doesn’t condemn. It stays, and it speaks.
We hope this conversation encourages you to come to Jesus just as you are—and to trust that He loves you enough to not leave you there.
