You've checked all the boxes and built a successful life, but you feel flat and disconnected. Life feels like Groundhog Day - same patterns, same reactivity, same exhaustion from taking care of everyone else. You know you should be happy with your good life, but you're wondering: "Is this all there is?" I'm Dasha Tcherniakovskaia, and I help successful women tone down their overachieving, but damaging traits and start making choices from their own desires instead of obligation. You have choices: you can talk about your headaches in therapy over and over again and get a sympathetic ear, or you can actually take radical responsibility for your life and your choices and create a life worth cherishing. So if you're burnt out from people pleasing, if you are overly responsible for everyone’s emotions and actions and don't even know where you end and someone else begins, or if you feel trapped in a life that looks good on paper - this show is for you. But only if you're ready to take personal responsibility and do the deep work. I won't hold your hand or give you superficial tips on boundary setting or time management. . You already have everything you need within you. It's time to give yourself permission to want more and learn how to access your own wisdom. We're going to get to the root of what's keeping you stuck so you can live life on your terms without apology. Ready to stop being brainwashed into taking care of others and start choosing yourself? Let's disrupt that thinking together.

Episode 4: Anxiety as a Guide

Anxiety isn’t the enemy—it’s a messenger.
When you stop fighting your anxiety and start listening to it, you gain access to one of the most powerful guidance systems you already have.

Episode Description

Successful women often know anxiety all too well: the racing thoughts before a meeting, the tightness in your chest when you want to speak up but don’t, or the knot in your stomach when you say yes to something you don’t want to do. Most of us try to push it down, distract ourselves, or power through. But what if anxiety wasn’t the problem to fix, but a signal pointing you to what’s out of alignment?

In this episode, I share how I stopped treating anxiety like a nuisance and began using it as data. Anxiety is often a sign that your energy is leaking—whether through overcommitment, misaligned values, or people-pleasing. When you suppress it, you drain yourself. When you get curious about it, you recover your energy and your power.

I tell a personal story about a senior partner at work who triggered old patterns in me, and how listening to my anxiety helped me see that I wasn’t incompetent—I was ignoring boundaries. Once I named the truth and advocated for myself, I reclaimed my energy. Anxiety became a guide instead of a drain.

This episode is an invitation to shift your relationship with anxiety. Instead of silencing it, learn to ask: What is this here to tell me?

Key topics:

  • Why anxiety is a signal, not the root problem
  • The hidden energy cost of suppressing feelings
  • How old patterns of people-pleasing get reactivated at work
  • Using anxiety as data to realign with your truth
  • Distinguishing between anxiety and intuition

Signature Dasha Quote

"When you work hard to ignore anxiety, it drains your energy. When you listen to it, it can protect you."
