Over the bridge
Gemeente Rotterdam
4 episodes

Twenty-eight years after its opening, the Erasmus Bridge is undergoing major maintenance. One of Rotterdam's most beautiful icons is being cleaned and repainted in 2024. In the months leading up to this maintenance, the municipality researched ways to positively communicate the need for this work and potential disruptions. The research revealed that people crossing the bridge are interested in learning more about its history, the ongoing work, and its (natural) surroundings.

At the foot of the bridge, you can scan QR codes to access a series of short podcasts on various themes. Each episode lasts about 10 minutes, roughly the time it takes to cross the bridge on foot.

This podcast is made for the municipality of Rotterdam.

Concept and program development by COBALT and On Track Agency
