We both have the most favorite country in Asia, can you guess? We're both originally from Macau and moved to the US five years ago—funny enough, at the same time as our partners. We officially became US citizens just last year. Paji recently took a two-month-plus journey back to some parts of Asia and 20 days in Macau to reconnect with family who are still there, living as migrants. Meanwhile, Iasmin’s reflected on how, as Filipino-Macau mixes, we've actually found ourselves more connected to our roots here in the States than we ever were back home. Stay in end for a mini #Cantonese lesson to start the new year! A segment we'll be doing every episode now, also we're back on our 1 episode a week now that Paji is back on the same time zone :)
Reminiscing on how this all started—3 years ago! 🎉 In this special episode, we take a walk down memory lane, share some life updates, chat about how food affects our mood, and explore some interesting facts from Asia!
